HELLO FROM PASTOR MIKE!
I am so glad you are surfing the web or just checking us out and have decided to read and learn a little more about Christian Hills Church. The site is filled with information about who we are, what we believe and why we have existed for 90 years! “Wow,” you are thinking – “they’re old!” We may be old but we are filled with new life and excitement for Jesus! We are experiencing many amazing things in our church and school! Lives are finding hope and help in our tough times. People are being encouraged and finding new friends to do life with!
We have grown with our culture and the times! You will discover that we offer ministry for all ages and all stages of life! We are committed to kids ministry, youth ministry and adult ministry.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our services run approximately 90 minutes and always begin with a time of worship that lasts anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Feel free to sit or stand during this time.
Our worship style is diverse, utilizing modern songs as well as traditional hymns. We believe there are many valid expressions of worship in scripture such as singing, clapping, dancing, raising your hands, banners, and silence. Sometimes during worship, there is usually an opportunity to respond to what God is doing either corporately or individually. After worship there is a thought provoking, Bible-based message followed by a practical challenge to apply the Word to everyday life.
We have a wide variety of styles here, from sandals to suit coats. We believe that God is much more interested in what’s on the inside.
We celebrate communion once a month on average. There is no set schedule as we plan communion for the service where it best fits the Biblical content of the message.
We have a board of servant leaders that function as Biblical elders in addition to our pastoral staff. Functionally, we are staff-led and board-protected as a church. You can meet our staff here.
There are many ways to get connected at CHC. A good place to start is to find a Life Group to attend. There are also plenty of ministry and volunteering opportunities.

When & Where
We’re located at 9001 W. 159th St. – just past the Super Walmart (or just before it depending on what direction you’re driving). We meet Sundays at 10a.
Parking
As a first time visitor, we have special parking spaces reserved right near the main entrance for your convenience. Feel free to utilize these spaces until you feel comfortable. Parking Map
Inside
Once you’re through the doors, you will be greeted with a smile and given a bulletin listing relevant info. We encourage you to stop by the Information Center for more info.
For Kids
We have programs set up for your children from nursery to 5th grade. Please allow a few extra minutes to check in your family and introduce your kids to their classes. Ministries
